Organizations:
School Board
The St. John School Board is an advisory board that consists of
parents and school staff who meet to develop and provide structures
by which all parents can become actively involved in school life.

Mission Statement
As strong believers
in our Catholic faith, we, the St. John School Board will provide
structures and policies that support the school and Church in
nurturing Christ-centered leaders who will transform their
communities to bring others to God. In this, our mission we
invoke the power of the Holy Spirit and ask for the intercession of
our Blessed Mother.

Committees
Board members chair
various subcommittees through which all parents can take ownership
of the school and give of their time and talents. The subcommittees are
described below:

Faith Committee: To support
and facilitate the spiritual growth of our school community

Technology Committee: To seek and
provide the latest technological tools for use in our school and
classrooms.

Facility/
Building Committee: To help improve the building
facilities of our school grounds
·
Enrollment Committee: To
develop guidelines for structures and controlled growth in
student enrollment and to support such growth
·
Public Relations
Committee: To promote a positive image of our
school to the parish community and greater community
·
Development Committee: To
explore and seek out long-term financial resources for our
school
·
Parent Association To promote
unity within the school community by providing social events
and to sponsor short-term fundraisers for immediate needs
Parish Organizations
Families may refer to the parish Sunday bulletin for a listing of parish
organizations that meet on a continuous basis. Copies are available in the
Church and parish office.
